What I've actually done is delete all the leagues except for MLB + Minors with the NCAA I, II and NJCAA leagues. Along with that I kept the High School and Dominican/Venuzuelen HS leagues.
So in all I'm playing with mostly an American focused world minus the amateur leagues. It's become very fun.

What really is the killer with this world - and this is b/c of a problem with OOTP - is the amount of coaches it generates. I had nearly 13,000 coaches in the world.
For an unexplained (and some would say DUMB) reason, you can only delete coaches one by one - no mass delete. This creates a massively huge file that can grind your computer to a halt even IF you delete all the players.
