Game Summary- The Dodgers opened the scoring in the bottom of the first with a run scoring single by Rafael Fucral. The Phillies came back in the top of the second to take the lead on a two run homer by Russell Branyan. Greg Maddux settled down after this and was able to contain the Phillies bats while the Dodger offense finally got rolling in the series. A Manny Ramirez Single in the bottom of the 5th tied the score. A two run double by Nomar Garciaparra gave the Dodger a two run lead. Jonathen Broxton allowed two singles in the ninth but coaxed Greg Dobbs into a double play to end the game and tie up the series 1-1.

Milwaukee then came back to tie the game on a two run Prince Fielder Homer in the 4th and 4 runs on 4 hits and 2 walks in the 5th. In the bottom of the 7th Andre Ethier's 3 run home run gave the Dodgers back the lead for good.

Russell Branyan hit a two run homer for the Padres in the third to start the scoring and then a 3 run homerun in the 5th chased Beckett and gave San Diego a 6-0 lead. The Red Sox were able to score 3 runs in the sixth including 2 runs on a Rocco Baldeli Double but were shut down after that by the Padres pen.>>

Game Summary- The first five innings of the game were dominated by the starters Cain and Beckett, with only one hit allowed between the two, a double by David Ortiz. The Red Sox broke through in the sixth, scoring Royce Clayton on a Coco Crisp single. A two run homer by Jacoby Ellsbury in the sixth expanded the lead to three. Beckett lost his no-hit bid in the sixth and also allowed a run on a Pat Burrell double. Jonathan Paperboy came on in the 9th to close the game for the Sox but struggled loading the bases before striking out Mike Fontenot to close the game.
