I did a quickstart in OOTP 12 managing the Cubs. It is now 2028, and we've won two World Series. I have a 31 year old second baseman who needs 10 homes to get to 400 (he's already the best 2nd baseman of all time and he's got several more solid years left in him if he stays healthy) and a 27 year old first baseman who just hit his 300th, making him the youngest player to ever get to that milestone (beating A-Rod by a few days). However, we are running into significant financial difficulties. We have a projected balance of -44 million after this season. The first baseman is a free agent after this year, and there is no way I can resign him. The fans will not be happy.
