What I do instead of creating a quickstart is this. I create the league, do all the edits, add the logos, colors and uniforms, etc. I get the league to how I want it to be. Prior to advancing this league and prior to the inaugural draft I simply save the .lg file as .sav.
I then will copy the .sav file to .lg and start my league with the copy. If I want to start over I just simply delete the old .lg file or save it somewhere else on the drive and re-copy the .sav file to .lg. Prior to the inaugural draft I go into league setup and randomize the players. I have been able to restart my league 15 times with the same setup without having to do the work of logos, unis and such.
