I am currently looking into some web-hosting sites and such. After doing ALOT of soul searching (for about five minutes), I've decided that it may be wise to get my feet wet as a commish with a league that seems to already be pre-formed. I have fears and reservations though so I don't want to get everybody's hopes up too high. Having never been a commish, I worry about the technical aspects. The normal commish stuff seems like I could handle it (I've had some AWESOME commish's too draw from), but with some of the computer stuff, I may be a bit lacking.
And someone had mentioned something about leaving a team open for a possible commish. If I do this, I think I would prefer to NOT have a team at first for a couple of reasons. 1st, I would want people to realize that any decisions I would make were for the better of the league and not for my team...and 2nd, there would be the inevitable person/people that would quit and/or otherwise abandon their team. I would be able to make SMALL transactions for those teams to keep them solvent until we were able to replace the owners.
I will keep you all posted on my progress. I hear alot about allsimbaseball.com. I'm hoping to hear from some experienced commish's to make sure it has EVERYTHING we would need and to find out which package would suit our purposes best.
