I hope somebody can answer this for me:

In an online league I have picked up a player in the Rule V-draft. The guy was on the 60-day DL and not protected.

I drafted him and put him on my 60-day DL.

Now I know that players that are drafted in the Rule V have to be on the active roster (or DL) all season long - but ... can I send him to the minors for a rehab assignment before bringing him back to the majors ??

Did somebody have this situation before ??
