Team options sure. You can offer a guy a nice option year, and you hope that he may end up being worth it, but if things go bad, you decline it and move on. I love team options.

Mutual options, I really dont even know what it means. that he can opt out too I suppose. I always prefer to be the one in control of an option.

The few times that I recall offering a player option was only if the option would give him a pay cut.
