Can I get a clarification on these arrows? Are they simply an indicator as you are scanning your minor leagues to show you which guys are putting up either very good or very poor numbers?
Or is there some element of "hey our coaches think this guy needs to move now or else you might hurt his development"?
For instance, if I am only 20 games into the season and a rookie AA guy is hitting .340, will the game place a green arrow next to his name simply because he is putting up good numbers? I might not promote him because it's still a small sample size and I want him to have more time to establish himself.
I'm just wondering if the arrows are just visual indicators of notable performance or if there is an additional layer of "hey you are hurting this guy"?
