This year we found a "bug" (well it was not a bug, but more like a misusage of a system command) which was there all the time since OOTP 2006. It was the reason why copying a lot of files was so slow. But we found that it was used in several places in the code and improving it made the whole game run faster |
Truly incredible. Importing my league took about a minute or two and that's with my 3-4 year old computer (maybe even older)
Granted I had never done that before, but still that's unbelievably fast.
And the loading screens from one to the next it just whips by compared to I believe 11? It's just unbelievable.
Whoever found that did a tremendous job in increasing the speed, which is a nice feature/factor for me. So yet again I say "thanks"
