Dear Mr. Orcin,

I am very happy playing in Louisville. I'd like to stick around after my contract expires at the end of the season, but I need to know if you are willing to work with me on a new deal. Let me hear your offer. I really want to remain with the Colonels. I love playing here and living here. It's a great organization and a wonderful city.

Murat is hitting .179 with 1 RBI in 8 starts at catcher. His VORP is -1.3 and his salary is $950K. I have the league’s best catching prospect at AAA, where he will probably make the All-Star team. Nope, I don’t think I am willing to work with Murat on a new contract. He is a good defensive catcher though. I am willing to let him stick around for the rest of the season so he can win a ring with us.
