pretty sure - again the uploaded team exports are sitting on Tripod's site in my folder. I see the time stamp and everything. I can even manually import each team one by one from the team setup screen and it works fine, changes are made.
The only problem seems to be when I import all.

The time stamp of the export files won't mean anything since they just represent what time the GM created/uploaded the roster export - that GM might still have used the older league file to create that export.

I am going to try to see if these improper team roster exports will get imported from the team screen - I still suspect that is what is happening. I'll try to responds further later about the test.

See below and my ISP cache setting issue - I thought that was ridiculous too until it happened to me .

Killebrew- when you mention that if any changes are made to the master league file between creating the file for the owners and receiving back their exports for the next sim , do you mean ANYTHING? I am under the impression that I can do anything I want to any team once I receive their export back. For example - once I create the downloadable league file for everyone, I make my changes for my team in the league right away. I also get some teams replies quicker and process them when I get them.

Again- I understand that if I make any roster moves or adds/deletes for a team I haven't received back yet, I probably have screwed it up. But I find it hard to believe that if I make changes to team A it has any effect on team B.

You are correct here - I don't mean importing the team roster exports. I mean player trades, player editing, finance editing, league setup & options changes, player releases, outside OOTP utility editing of the league, and simming (even an off day) are things you should not do until all the roster exports you expect for that sim have been imported. It's possible even your own teams roster changes need to be uploaded to the server, although maybe not as long as you create an EXP file for your team. I have not really tested all this stuff out, but that is how the game is supposed to run in order to prevent unethical play .

I'll check out your league file for further idea's too - I have seen a lot of trouble lately with file upload delays for some online GM's, depending on where they are and their ISP's cache setting. This is a pretty complex issue if it's related to your troubles. The league file for some GM's can be delayed by up to 6 hours if this problem occurs. The best workaround is probably giving each league file a unique name (like the league date or sim number) and GM's allowing some delay time before they can download the file.
