Hi crackpott - whew, I finally figured it out after trying nearly every possible league setting or option (arg)!
Excuse me while I attempt generating some pity <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> : I thought it might be related to the large amount of players your league has (3600+ players means an
average of over 112 players per team) so I pruned about 40 players off each team. That was
not it, though if you ever experience crashes or slow sims pruning the rosters will help
. I then tried changing teams around and redoing the schedule (it's a somewhat unusual league setup in that there are 32 teams) but that was not it either
. Took the coaches off, turned all teams to AI control, reset the league, deleted the HOFers, rearranged the divisional structure, simmed a few seasons with various setting changes, argggg! Finally figured it out - it's the TALENT ONLY reduced rating setting
.
I tried setting other leagues to this setting too and the same thing happened so that is it for sure. The reason we have not seen complaints is that this is probably not as common a setting as regular ratings or the other reduced ratings option. Unfortunately since you have this locked it means you will have to wait till it gets patched before Free Agents will appear in the html reports
. You can still view them within the game but for now that is the only way to see them.
