We need more of an explaination to help you. Are you trying to create a historical league or just add one player to an existing league?
Do you have the latest patch (patch 4.0c I believe it is).
What stage are you at when it shuts down? Are you importing a historical player from the edit free agent screen? and if so do you have the correct path specified to where you unzipped the Lahamn database? Are you using the correct player id number?
