More Dexter Press goodies, this time concentrating on my favorite team. As before, I'll only do the edits if I think Dexter is giving us something the current Batters/Pitcher Pack image doesn't.
Oh, and good news! Apparently, the Dexter photog who went to shoot the Mets knows how to keep the shadows off a subject's face!

Nice going.
Bressoud's Mets image in the Batters Pack has him completing his swing, torqued around awkwardly, with the uniform logo not at all visible. A clear call for the simplicity of Dexter Press.

(Although I list Bressoud as a 1966 Met, this picture was of course taken during Spring Training 1967, not long before the April 1st trade that sent Bressoud, Danny Napoleon, and cash to St. Louis, in exchange for Jerry Buchek and the washed-up Art Mahaffey and Tony Martinez. Not exactly an April Fools' prank on Eddie, who got to end his career with a World Champion team, and got to play 2 innings of defense in the Series, finishing up Games 2 and 5 after Dal Maxvill was lifted for a pinch-hitter, each time.)
