I have to defend the Colonel here. He has posted on these forums for a very long time, and he has contributed a lot of valuable points and suggestions.
I militantly support the right of any customer to be as critical and vocal as he or she deems necessary to vent frustration and ask for improvements. Every company should have the decency and the courage to face criticism and open discussion. So should other forum posters.
Fortunately, OOTP Developments has shown those qualities, and so have most of the people who post here regularly.
There were numerous times when I lambasted OOTP Developments during my first couple of years on these forums, so I can appreciate the frustration and passion that some people express. It's a sign of how much potential they see in the game and how badly they want to see their concerns addressed.
In recent years, I have mellowed and my postings are almost always positive. But this is because Markus and the crew did not shy away. They actually took my suggestions and complaints into account, and they have implemented all but one of my biggest requests. Hence, I have minimal reason for criticism these days.
The Colonel may get there as well. But it won't happen by him being less vocal or less critical. So I say, keep it going!
