The game can take 40 teams, and I'm told it was tested extensively, so I must presume it was tested with 40 teams. I believe it was tested with 40 teams. I'm too familiar with the people I know to be testers to imagine at least one of them wouldn't have tried to max the program out. I'm also aware of at least one other poster in the system who is running a 40 team league.

That being said, I may be the first person to want to select a team other than the one brought up by default on the spring training menu, and that the team I wanted to select happened to be numbered higher than 33. Most people are handling one team, and that team is defaulted, or team 1 if all teams are CPU. Thing was, I'm simming my league to give it it's history, so it's all CPU. A rising star was traded in the off season, and I wanted to see how his new team was going to train him.

I need to post a correction to my previous complaint, however. I noticed yesterday that the menu doesn't start any lower on the screen than, say, the Free Agent menu (which is entirely selectable). What is different is the spacing between the city names.
