There is a loop hole I think, in the real MLB. IF any of your playoff eligible players are placed on the 60-day DL, you can use any player in your entire organization (as of Aug. 31) to replace him in the post season.
As to the poster who can't get players off the DL and onto the Play-off roster. As stated above dragging and dropping does not work. Additionally, and this happened to me just recently, you need to take the players from the DL to your Active roster (and I had to make room for them by demoting guys to AAA), THEN you can place them onto the Playoff roster.
