I was wondering if I go into the saved game folder and rename the .lg file for my current league will the game continue to write over the changed file or will it create a new .lg file? Also, are there any other files I need to rename?

I want to be able to save my current game before installing the new patch just in case. The backup is good but takes far to long. Plus I tend to hit the "finish day" button in error and want an easy way to undo.
