The Oakland Athletics have traded catcher Pete Koegel and pitcher Bob Meyer to the Seattle Pilots for pitcher Fred Talbot.
Saturday August 30th:
The Houston Astros have traded OF Sandy Valdespino and OF Danny Walton to the Seattle Pilots for OF Tommy Davis.
The Cleveland Indians have signed Johnny Sain as their new pitching coach.
Due to a nagging hip injury, Seattle Pilots CF Dick Simpson has been placed on the disabled list. He may or may not be back this season.
