What you posted in jest is actually true. Some great guys achieved great milestones and the "underdog" did something that no one expected them to do in the beginning of the season. Kids have shined this year for the Yankees helping them achieve this division crown. If it wasn't for Robertson, Nova, Nunez etc., the Yankees wouldn't have been anywhere close to where they are.

As for Cliff Lee choosing the "valiant" path, get off your high horse. If he went back the Mariners, stayed with Texas or went to a slew of other small market teams, you'd have an argument. He went to the Yankees of the NL and joined a rotation with another "hired gun" to make up what's one of the strongest rotations ever assembled. I don't really see anything "valiant" in that.
