Well, I've taken a snapshot of the league totals and simmed a season to have it go to 1991 and they've stayed the same. So I guess what I'm noticing is that offense really seems to pick up after the first ten years or so. I'm going to sim another season to see if the league totals change after the second year.

Just to be clear, it's a fictional league with only 8 teams. The first year the league ERA is normally around 4. A bit low, but as I sim it rises higher to get to 4.5 quickly, which I'm good with. But then it keeps getting higher, up to 5.5 and that's way too much as far as I'm concerned. I'm hoping that it peaks there. Then, maybe I can change the league totals again to get offense down, and then start it again, knowing that the first 20 years or so will be very low on offense. If that makes sense.

Thanks for your help.
