2025 IPA Pro Cup Series

Roosters Stun Stallions 9-3 In Pro Cup Opener
On the road the underdog Middlefield Roosters jumped out to an 8-0 lead in the first two frames and stunned the favored South Fork Stallions 9-3 in the opening game of the 2025 IPA Pro Cup Finals... the Roosters ripped rookie Bill Massey for 6 runs in the first inning and never looked back... it was Massey's (4-1 3.41) first postseason loss... Middlefield pounded out 15 hits and were paced by RF Chuck Larkin (.196) with a homer and a double and 4 RBIs... LF Floyd McClellan (.348) and SS Tim Tyler (.263) batted in a couple of runs apiece... Danny Denver (2-1 2.85) was effective, especially with such a big lead... He permitted only 2 earned runs and 7 hits, while going the distance.
