Hi Claystone.


Closer - Usually your best relief pitcher. Does not need a lot of stamina.

Setup Reliever - Your next best one or two relievers, after the closer. Again, stamina is not that important. And if you are using two setup guys, it a good idea to have one left hander and one right hander. But not necessary.

Middle Reliever - Usually your 4th/5th rated relievers. Doesnt hurt to have at least one middle reliever with a stamina rating higher than 1.

Mop-Up Reliever - The lowest guy on the totem pole. Not quite good enough to be the 5th starter. And not good enough to trust in an important spot. They usually only pitch in a blow out game or when no one else is available. It does help to have a pitcher with decent stamina as well. at least a 2 to 3 rating.
