I'd be fine at this point if the answer were "4 weeks". Not the answer anyone would like to hear, but at least it's an answer.
If I wanted to hear evasive crap a la "oh yeah some other guy is working on that" or "it's a known issue. we're working on it" (which, frankly, is all you're getting atm from the OOTP developers), I'd watch a Republican Primary debate. I dont wanna hear evasive crap, I wanna hear actual answers. Even if the answer isnt what I wanna hear...

The reason that they don't give definitive answers is because a bug could pop up while they work on the patch and that could delay the game a while. Sure, they could give a date and just tell us if there's a snag, but we've seen how well this board handles dissatisfaction...
And Markus also said September for the final patch.
