1. I'm afraid I don't know about player editors, as I don't use them.
2. The Stickware schedule generator (the same one used for OOTP4) works with version 5.
3. The famed Cato utility is best for online leagues. It can be found at
http://www.jcato.net/downloads/index.html and it creates a website rather similar to baseball-reference.com, with simply insane amounts of information to peruse.
