That's a lie. I have posted all over this board the main reasons I like OOTP 12: autocalc, the new financials, lineup change verification, and the save game feature. I've been playing OOTP 12 daily since it was released and the only significant problem I've seen was the Hispanic-only draft classes in the 2011 roster set, but Markus fixed that in like a day.
As to the immersion, I posted the truth. I don't know why it's more immersive - it just is. I'm not the only person who feels that way. If you can't handle the truth, that's your problem, and you don't need to go gratuitously insulting people who disagree with you in an attempt to discredit them.

According to OOTP itself, OOTP MLB play (modern and historical) outnumbers OOTP fictional play three to one.
