You guys need to log an issue on this AND send the files in (both the OOTP11 league that won't work AND the result in OOTP12). Make sure to explain which files are which.
This is NOT easily reproducible (I've had zero issues with this from leagues I've tried to import, but have seen it in leagues people have sent me.)
I suspect the problem is in the OOTP11 files and not in OOTP12.
