April 5th-7th; Nationals @ Marlins
Game 1(4/162)Att: 29,788

The game started slowly until the top of the 3rd, when Gorzelanny got his 1st extra base hit of his career and turned it into a triple, Zimmerman later in the inning drove in the run and the Nats were up by 1. In the 5th Buck sent one into the crowd to tie the game at 1, we had a few chances in the 6th to add to the lead but failed to take them and were then promptly punished by the Nats in the 7th as the Nats added 2 more runs to the score, their bullpen managed to see it through and Coffey recorded his 2nd save of the year.
Game 2(5/162)Att: 30,682

After yesterday's disappointment the players were urged to get off to a quick start, and after 3 innings we had a 2-0 lead, the Nationals didn't look like they were going to trouble us and they were put further out of the game when we scored 2 runs in the 4th and 5th, Zimmermann in this start at least managed to last longer than his 1st start of the year, Volstad was going for a CG but in the 9th we pulled him with his pitch count a little high and this early in the season we didn't want to risk anything. Coghlan was a home run shy of the cycle and it would have been 1 of the natural variety.
Game 3(6/162)Att: 30,193

The Nationals were behind the 8-ball in the 1st as Mock was chased out of the game in the 1st after giving up 5 runs on 4 hits, from then on it was damage control for their bullpen. Johnson again pitched another solid 6 innings and Murphy got his 1st hit and home run for us, Ramirez also got his 1st home run of the year and for the Nationals their expensive free agent signing got his 1st home run of the year.
