IRL, Camilli was traded from Brooklyn to the Giants on 7/30/1943. He refused to report to his new team and effectively retired.

In the game, the transaction goes through but Camilli joins the Giants, showing up as #1 on the depth chart at 1B. He remains the number one first baseman through the rest of the season but never starts a game. During August and September he appears in 37 games with an OBP of .400 in 39 PAs.

Because of Real Lineups, I guess the game is trying to limit his usage, but he really needs to not be on the team.
