I did it all the time in V11. I never touched the field managing side of the game, ever. What you need to do is click on your teams game, the manage game button, but in the pregame screen you set it so the field manager is in control of everything on the left side of the screen. Then you can uncheck the box "pause after each play at the top near the right corner, then sit back and watch it unfold like you are watching it on MLB.com.
