Well, kind of!
My original point was that I'm glad I have something OOTP-related to distract me from all of this nonsense.
But yeah, I am also emphasizing the fact that I'm trying to do something productive and constructive to help improve the game. Not that being a beta tester is any big deal. Pretty much anyone can be on the beta team if they just volunteer. Unfortunately, there are some people - and they know who they are - who would rather be armchair game developers and trash other people/ideas than to actually put forth the time or effort to help out.
So I guess in a way, I was calling attention to that fact. Thanks for noticing!
