Jmm I didnt mention NHL , because I had thought there have been 2 female goalies....so how much I know about Hockey. I am a casual fan. I watch the Hawks and the Cup and thats it.

Manon Rheaume played one exhibition game with the Tampa Bay Lightning vs the St. Louis blues in 1992. She played one period allowing 2 goals on 9 shots.(got that from a hockey card)
Hayley Wickenheiser who is clearly the best female hockey player out there played for HC Salamat in Finland, playing 23 games with 2 goals and 10 assists. (stolew that from a hockey card as well)She was going to play in Italy but they decided she wasn’t allowed to play in the men’s leagues. She turned down an offer to play with the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL due to a prior commitment to the national team I believe(don’t quote me on that one) and she was invited to the Philadelphia Flyers rookie try-out camp. I don’t remember what year and I don’t know if she went.
