It would be great to have more control over how a pitcher pitches to a batter. This would be like calling signs to the catcher from the dugout.
The Pitcher versus Batter window would be better if there was a small graphic to show the scouting report on that batter detailing hot and cold zones. Does he rake everything up and in, or does he patiently wait for a fastball right down the pipe?
It would be great to look up the pitcher versus batter window, see that you should pitch this batter outside and low and then call an action to recommend the pitcher send a curveball in that direction.
