Something similar happened to me.
My game was in the 9th inning playing batter per batter in the Box Score view. The last batter is out, I win 9-8, but all buttons are greyed out, its impossible to exit to the main screen or what so ever. I exit the applicaiton, re-enter, same thing, exit again and decided to close the background app. When I restarted the app, I was at the main screen, so I thought everything was back to normal. This was the second game of the season and my record was now 1-1. It was saying that I won 9-8 BUT i needed to play that game again, I clicked Play game, the score was 9-8 and we were in the 1st inning. I finally lost the game 16-14 and my record was now 1-2 with only 2 games played.
So I dont know if that happened here.
