He opened with a UD over Johnny Hill before getting off the canvas to KO Manny Pacquiao in nine. A 12 round split decision over Cuban Black Bill and a UD over Daisuke Naito followed. A UD over Rinty Monaghan and a 2 round destruction of Luis Ibarra highlighted the rest of his second unbeaten campaign.

Laciar took a wide UD over Malcolm Tunacao before wiping out Terry allen in 2 one sided rounds. A UD over Hernan Marquez followed before he sandwiched two UD's over Chartchai Sasakul with a 12 rd unanimous nod over Newsboy Brown.

A fifth rd KO loss to Efren Torres and an 8rd KO to Fighting Harada got him off to a slow start. He rebounded by stopping Oscar Arciniega in 4 and taking a SD from Teddy Gardner before dropping UD's to benny Lynch & Pancho Villa. That's when he stopped the 37 straight wins from Giovanni Segura with a stirring MD. Two more wins enabled him to maintain the lofty ranking.

Arthur Johnson lasted 7 rounds with Jimmy and Luis Ibarra was iced in 3. Wilde climbed of the canvas to take Lorenzo Parra via 8th round TKO. Leo Gamez was massacred in 2 before Miguel Canto survived 3 knockdowns en route to losing a 12rd UD. 6 Ko's finished up his trek, 3 in one round.

5. Vic Darchinyan (IBF & WBC) 20-0 (13)
A UD over Alfonso Lopez was his best result before taking a UD15 over Elky Clark to claim the IBF title. 5 defenses, including an 8th rd KO over Jake Matlala, followed before Vic unified with a 12rdUTD over Valentin Anglemann. 5 more defenses followed, the best of which were UD over Louis Skena & Eric Morel.

6. Fighting Harada 20-0 (12)
He got off the canvas in consecutive fights to win SD over Jackie Jurich in 10 and Pongsaklek Wongjongkam in 12. The aforementioned KO8 over Kittikasem that saw both guys down twice. A majority decision over Little Dado preceded a KO5 over Jurich and a TKO9 over Danny Romero. Harada ended things with a devastating 3rd round KO over Edgar Sosa.

He got off the deck to win a UD over Hiroyuki Ebihara and stopped Rosendo Alvarez in 5. His record at 108 helped aid his seed as the only other notable was the loss to Kittikasem.

8. Mark Johnson 18-1-1 (12)
He opened with a disputed draw with Jurich before trading knock downs with Pacquiao and finishing him 5. Too sharp was knocked out in the final round against Fernando Montiel(yikes TB). But he rebounded with 13 straight wins including a 12rd UD over Jung-Koo Chang and a 10th round Ko of Peter Kane.

9. Midget Wolgast 19-1 (6)
He won 9 straight over lesser opponents before dropping a 12rd UD to Miguel Canto. A 6th TKO over Moruti Mthalane, two UD's over Luis Concepcion & a SD from Arthur Johnson were the highlights from there.

10. Jung-Koo Chang 18-2 (6)...38-2 (14)
Chang lost an MD to Dado Marino before reeling off 17 in a row with the best win being a MD over Ebihara. Then he dropped the decision to Johnson and was another beneficiary of a stellar record at 108.
