I probably play OOTP more in the winter, actually.
Also, I play fictional, and usually finish my season before cutting over to a new release (so I get the added benefit of a patch or two by the time I switch).
This is a long winded way of saying I couldn't care less what the actual release date is, as long as Markus delivers in a reasonable time frame, according to what he's promised.
