MLB - Announced that it was agreed by both leagues to have their champions meet at the conclusion of the regular season in a best of seven series to determine a "world's" champion.
CLEVELAND - Announced that they are changing their nickname. They will now be known as the Cleveland Naps, in honor of their star hitter, Nap Lajoie.
