Announcements
Cincinnati - Announced that they are moving into a new ball park. The ball park will be named Palace of the Fans.
Cleveland - Announced that they are changing their nickname. They will now be known as the Cleveland Bronchos.
Milwaukee - Announced that the franchise was being relocated to Saint Louis. The club will now be known as the St.Louis Browns. Saint Louis becomes the fourth city where there will be direct competition between the leagues.

CF Billy Hamilton, age 35 - 14 seasons. Inducted to Hall of Fame. His best season was in 1894 when he batted .404 with 4 home runs, 87 RBIs and 98 stolen bases in 129 games.

SP Amos Rusie, age 30 - 10 seasons. Inducted to Hall of Fame. His best season was in 1891 when he compiled a 33-20 record with 1 save, an ERA of 2.55 and 337 strikeouts in 500.1 innings.
