Player 1: Starting pitcher with 4 pitches (FB,CRV,CCH,FRK)
heres several, but u would have to give them a forkball
Player 2: Short Stop contact hitter (good on the bases)

Player 3: Right Fielder with Power and baserunning ability
1. Magglio Ordonez
2. Ichiro but upgrade his power
3. Tony Gwynn, power is a little low and after 1991 didnt run much
4. Bo Jackson more of a LF vs RF but I use him in RF in my 1988 league
5. Johnny Damon/Carlos Beltran the Kansas City years both have played RF and can run
Player 4: Short stop defensive player with contact hitting Switch hitter
1. Omar Vizquel
2. Ozzie Smith
3. Larry Bowa
4. Tony Fernandez
that about it for switch hitting SS i may have missed 1-2
Player 5: Closing Pitcher with 3 pitches (FB,SNK,FRK) switch hitter
A closer who hits? hard to find
only CL i could find as of 2010 season that throws a Sinker is Ryan Franklin u would have to add the rest.
Player 6: Starting Pitcher 3 pitches (FB,SL,CH) Lefty
Player 7: Catcher who is a spray hitter with speed
1. Ivan Rodriguez early in his career
2. Jason Kendall
3. Craig Biggio but take out his ratings at 2B
Player 8: Centerfield who is fast
1. Kenny Lofton
2. Scott Podsednik more of a LF
3. Juan Pierre
4. Vince Coleman LF but move him
5. Rickey Henderson same as above
6. Willie McGee
7. Lance Johnson mostly a triples hitter good for 35 sb most yrs. (my 2nd all time fav player)
Player 9: Short Stop Switch Hitter with Power
doesnt exist unless u keep Mickey Mantle at SS
change Ernie Banks to a switch hitter
change Cal Ripken to a switch hitter
Player 10: Closer with 3 pitches (FB,SPLT,CCH)
CL with 3 pitches is hard to find for 2010 guys, players like Dennis Eckersly, Rollie Fingers, Lee Smith, Mariano Rivera, Trevor Hoffman and then add what pitches u want.
Also u can play with the editor, which is how i did several of my early leagues on ootp 8 and a few on 11 namely my ABF league
basically u just put #'s in til u find a set that u like and hit "Create Potential ratings based on stats" and leave "Create current ratings based on stats" alone and these players will take a few yrs to mature.
