The New York Giants take their 4 pennant in 5 years with little resistance. The UL went into the last day of the season with Indianapolis, Cleveland and Buffalo tied for first. Indianapolis had never won, Cleveland hadn't finished better than 5th since their last pennant, while Buffalo had recently been a contender.
The Bison and Indians both win as Cleveland loses. For all the near ties, this is the first deadlocked finished. Buffalo hosting the Indians.
1B William O'Brien's grand slam powers the Bison to a 3rd pennant overall, a second Empire State Series. The same results, Giants 3, Bisons 1.
