I ended up having to play the 1901 season over since I think I was pointed to the wrong historical database. So I decided to use the Spritze database for High School. This means guys will start their careers when they are 18 years old, or even younger.

It also includes many Negro League players, minor league players and later on Asian players.

I am also using a complete minor league system. So even though guys will start their professional careers when they turn 18, they won't necessarily go straight to the majors. For instance, HOF pitcher Ed Walsh started his major league career in IRL in 1904 at age 23. Right now in my dynasty, he just finished the 1901 season with the Pirates Triple A farm team, going 16-11. Whether he makes to the majors before 1904 remains to be seen.

I think this should be fun and interesting to see how this all works out.
