Scoresheets

I like the idea of having the game provide a scoresheet view of the play by play on one tab or widget, either updated as the game progresses or displayed at the end.

We already have all the data necessary, generated by the game, to put together very detailed scoresheets (not just recording the fly out to left as F7 but F7-78XD for example), to show the count when the play was resolved, to indicate RBI on the play, etc.

The snapshot of the Box Score is great. The detailed story of the Game Log is marvelous. The pictorial story of the game we could get from a detailed scoresheet would be a marvelous resource, and allow us to more easily generate our own statistics, beyond those tracked by the game. For example, we could figure out how many HRs a player hit with 2 strikes on him, how many of a pitcher's strikeouts were looking/swinging (and compare those with walks in those games), how many errors a shortstop committed that led to runs, etc.

It could even be an alternate way to follow a game in progress. I would love that sort of quick look at what a batter has done so far in the game.
