The Beaneaters are heads and shoulders better then the entire league. Its a tough quandrum for my team and you are 100% right that pitching is what is holding me back.

I had the best pitcher in the league in Charlie Geggus but he had season ending injuries the past two seasons. The ramifications of that have been huge as I gave up alot for him and signed him to a long contract. I did trade my number one draft pick for Ed Morris he has been good but not great. Im not really sure what to do with my pitching to be honest, wait for Geggus to return next season or get the best free agent available next offseason.

On a positive note my hitting is slowly becoming the best in the league. Sam Thompson is having a season of seasons and Elmer Smith along with Billy Earle are among the best at their positions. I also added another superstar in the amateur draft which I will be posting later.

The news on Cap isnt so great. He was having a great bounce back season but broke a bone in his arm and will miss the rest of the 1893 season. I hope he can make it back.

Thanks for following, I guess two championships in 22 years isnt great but it could be worse.
