Let me show how little I know about the NFL. Does the NFL have a draft lottery or does it go by straight record?
And Luck is just a sophomore, is there any chance he will come back next year for a last shot at a NC?

Edit: The more I think about it, the less I think Luck would leave Stanford. He is only a sophomore, his team is good and has a NC shot next season and most importantly he has to decide if he wants to leave in less than six weeks and there is a strong possibility that there might not even be an NFL next season.
He might be better off staying put for another season

If he was a running back I would feel differently but QBs don't have much to lose by staying an extra year.
