Hola,

Yo soy traductor inglés-español y me gustaría ayudar a traducir una versión de OOTP en español.

Para poder hacer la traducción, requeriría los archivos originales del juego convertidos a un formato de texto simple (Word, Bloc de Notas, etc.) y luego de traducirlos, habría que convertirlos al código fuente del juego otra vez y distribuir copias de fácil instalación en algún servidor amigo (como el de PadresFan o alguno similar).

El único problema con esto es que son demasiados archivos para que una sola persona pueda traducir el juego completo, como bien dijo thiky1971. Tendría que ser un proyecto grande, en el que se necesitaría la participación de varios, como se ha hecho con otros aspectos del juego (facegen packs, bases de datos, etc.).

Bueno, ese es mi sentir al respecto. Yo encantado de participar, si se genera suficiente interés y participación organizada de parte de otros hispano-hablantes.

I'm an English-Spanish translator and I'd like to help with the creation of an OOTP version in Spanish.

To make a translation, I'd need copy of the game's original files in a simple text doc. (Word, Notepad, etc.). After translation, the files would have to be converted back into OOTP's original code and uploaded to be offered for download at some friendly server (like PadresFan or another, for instance).

The only problem I see in this is that there's too many files for one single person to translate them all. This would be a large project that would require the participation of several people, like it's been done with other aspects of the game (facegen packs, databases, etc.).

Well, this is my two cents on the subject. I'd love to participate, if enough interest and participation can be generated for this idea amongst other Spanish speakers.
