Or less accurately. In the NBA, the Knicks gave up a younger, hard-working 20-10 guy in David Lee, to bring in Amare Stoudemire, a guy who is paid a lot more, has bad knees, doesn't work hard, dislikes rebounding, and doesn't even try to play defense. Everyone who even remotely follows the NBA knows that Lee is a much better player. The Knicks scouts apparently disagree (somehow). The equivalent in OOTP is that Lee would be a 3-4 star player according to every scout in the league except for the Knicks, who would rank him a 2 at most; while Stoudemire would be a 2-2 1/2 star player for every scout in the league except for the Knicks who think he's a 3 1/2-4 star player. I would bet money that the Knicks are dead wrong, but only time can tell. In real life there can be a lot of disparity in scouting and the same exists in the game (if you select that option, of course).
