It is no coincidence that Louisville's first two division titles came after Ashburn joined the team. Even though his 2016 season was cut short by a knee injury, the guy has just been spectacular.

He's the catalyst of this offense. Getting on base at a .400 clip with Joe Jackson hitting .360 two guys behind him is a great way to start a lineup. Their .296 team batting average is second only to the L.A. Idols' remarkable .304 average back in 2011. But that team had no pitching.
