The PEBA 2012 "Best Of" Writing Awards have just been announced. During the 2012 season, PEBA owners submitted a total of 176 articles, ensuring that people can tune into the PEBA website and expect to see new and compelling content on a regular basis. Here's a sampling of some of our finest work from last season:

• Draft Analysis: Calzones Corner: 2012 Draft Recap Edition. Calzones Corner, the San Antonio Calzones of Laredo fan blog, eventually breaks down the entire San Antonio 2012 draft, but not before they provides draft highlights for each and every team in the league.
• Historical Analysis: A Look Back: The 2007 Amateur Draft First Round, Part 1. Writing for Triple Crown Analytics, Sarah Rodriguez provides us with a retrospective on the first four selections in the PEBA’s first ever June Amateur Draft.
• Interview: Altitude Sports Aurora Playoff Round Table. As the Aurora Borealis prepare to enter the playoffs, members of the Denver-area media gather to discuss the team's outlook.
• Most Original: Bard of Avon Inspires Dozers of Yuma Fans. If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a hundred times: When you’re going down to your seventh-straight home defeat, iambic pentameter is all you have left. Bonus points to Bob for inspiring others to wax poetic.

As you can see, PEBA owners are wildly creative, enthusiastic about their league, and extremely participatory. In addition to the constant stream of articles, our forums are alive with non-stop talk on a variety of subjects. This is just the kind of environment I know many of you are looking for.
