OOTP 6.5 League looking for Owners

Come back to your roots and join an OOTP 6.5 League!

OOTP 11 looks pretty, but the simulation aspect of the game has not been the same since version 6. I've tried the most recent versions, and while I love some aspects of the game, I always find myself going back to simpler times.

Baseball Retro

Baseball Retro (AKA LOHO short for League of His Own) is looking for a few good owners to take over some unmanned teams.

Rob Savard is the commissioner of the league and has been running OOTP leagues since its inception. I've been playing in his leagues for nearly 10 years. If your looking for a league that runs like clockwork, then this is the league for you. For the last 10 years Bob has been very consistent with running sims every Monday, Wednesday, & Friday. There is usually never a delay, and if their is an unforseen circumstance, Bob makes you aware of it ahead of time. I've been in other leagues, but I grow tired of them because the sim schedule was never consistent.

If you want consistency in your sim schedule, then join us:

Baseball Retro (LOHO) started with the 2008 season, and we are currently in April of the 2017 season. Due to real life issues, we recently lost some owners at the conclusion of the 2016 season. Some teams are works in progress, while other teams are ready to compete right now.

The available teams with previous season records are:

Baltimore Orioles (61-100) (#5 Minor League System)
Oakland Athletics (78-83)
Houston Astros (81-80)
Arizona Diamondbacks (83-77)
San Diego Padres (90-71)
Colorado Rockies (57-103) (# 13 Minor League System)

Join the league and help make the above listed teams better. It's an enjoyable league, and the schedule of sims is very consistent. Current owners have first dibs on switching teams if one becomes available. So if your a fan of another team, you may be able to get that team in the future. Also, when the league has had it's run and is rebooted in the future, you will start fresh with a new team. From my history with playing with Bob, each league usually lasts about 4 years, and we usually get 20 seasons out of it, before the owners come together and agree for a reboot.

If interested in joining please contact me at bigdaddyshag@aol.com or Rob Savard (Commish) at r.savard5@bell.net

NOTE: We look after unmanned teams so they do not fall into total disrepair.
