Tank Tucker (1-0) got the win with a scoreless 7th... Rick Brickell and Sol Yakis blanked the Typhoons in the last two frames... It was Yakis' first save in the playoffs... Jeb Pickett (1-1) was the loser, though he allowed no earned runs in his 2 innings... the winning score came in the 7th when 2B Duncan Renwick (.364) doubled, then scored on a wild throw by C Cody Moore, while he was stealing third... Wildcat starter Connie Gavagan and Typhoon starter Jacques Lemaire both pitched well...
